plates do not belong on mission ships, you should fit to rep the incoming damage, extra buffer does not help at that point.

    you need tracking computers

amarr ships should be using faction ammo

never use meta ABs when a t2 will fit, t2 are better.

finally, an apocalypse is a more low sp friendly BS - the amarr BS are quite skill intensive, but the apocalypse is the easiest on skills and the best with t1 guns.

browse loadouts, there's quite a few good fits you can have a look at

I hope the frig AB was a mistake.  You don't need one anyways.
Tachs are nice, but there are really only a few ships that can use them effectively.  Abby can, but you are really better off w/ mega pulses.
Get rid of the plate for another heatsink.  If your skills are low and you need more tank, a 4th hardener can go in that slot.
Sebo and "whoops" AB for 2x TCs.

    helges has no influence.

    Thank you for the feedback.

I like beam lasers for range, but would you say pulse lasers would be a better choice?
If I change Sensor Booster and AB to 2 Tracking Computers and change the plate for another heatsink will this be a good fit to train for?

yes, but the cap is kinda on the low side - it's an abaddon after all. even at all level 5s you'll cap out just running your beams for 5 mins

megabeams are better than megapulse unless the pulse are t2.

megabeams on an apocalypse makes for great optimal with multifrequency, you'll end up doing plenty of damage at range and it has the gun cap bonus and a nice slot layout, too.

Beam lasers have nice range but horrible tracking.  Tracking speed scripts help this.
Megapulse do much better DPS at shorter range.  Optimal range scripts help this.
Honestly, until you can use T2 pulses (w/ the corresponding Scorch ammo), you are probably better off w/ beams.
When your skills are at a high level, the Paladin (or even better, Nightmare) become the mission rapers w/ beams.  Both are much better than a tach Abby.

beams have great tracking.. the best out of all the long range weapons, "horrible" is really not how they should be described.

And, like Doug said, the Apoc is really the Amarr mission boat you want to run until you have high skills.

It was purely comparison to pulses.  But fair enough.

Swap an EM hardener for a thermic. It'll improve your tank against pretty much everything, though I imagine you were intending to tank Sanshas/Bloods.

Either case, plug that 35% thermal hole.

Beams are probably your best choice until you get T2 guns. Scorch swings the whole equation around.
